Lincoln Society to Unveil Dayton Statue

"On the 156th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s anti-slavery speech in Dayton, sculptor Mike Major is set to unveil his larger-than-life statue of the former president.

The statue, standing roughly 11 feet tall and on a 4-foot base, is positioned in the plaza next to the Old Court House between the pillars, facing north. The piece weighs 1,300 pounds.
